C/C++. Programming in a High-Level Language

The aim of this book is to give a concise and clear account of the C++ language consistent with the ISO/IEC 14882 standard. It is intended for students learning the language "from scratch," but it will also be useful to those more experienced in programming.

In writing this book, the author set out to convey a sound understanding of the C++ language's capabilities and how to apply them, to spur further study of this and other programming languages, and to provide a key to understanding modern object-oriented technologies. The review assignments on key topics are provided in 20 versions, and the author hopes that instructors will appreciate the care invested in them.
