A month of intense work

· tired

I looked over the report for April. According to it, last month I did something for 29 different clients. If you count the fact that some clients have several projects each, it comes out to more than 30 sites. This is the fallout from a programmer quitting, which left me with his unfinished work and orders to redo things.

At the same time, I managed to read a couple of books: "Building Powerful and Robust Websites with Drupal 6" and "Drupal E-commerce with Ubercart 2.x". I also started reading "Drupal 6 Search Engine Optimization", but I think I'll set it aside and move on to "Pro Drupal Development, Second Edition", since I took on a couple of sites and saw that what's in the first two books isn't enough to implement what I had in mind. (Reading List by Amazon on LinkedIn is handy.)

Yes, I decided to dig in and partially switch to Drupal. I haven't fully studied Joomla!, but I've already built about 20 sites on it, and I've worked with even more than that, and the more closely I look at it, the more unpleasant stuff keeps surfacing. I hope that in May I'll be able to add a few Drupal sites to what's already done.
