Discussing the "police" law, or imitating democracy while legalizing TORTURE

Since they put the law online for public discussion, I decided to leave my own remarks too. I don't mind. I wrote a few pointed comments, without swearing, well-argued... only they never showed up on the site. I read the blogs on this topic and realized I'm not the only one. Many people's comments didn't pass moderation, and according to some, their comments did appear, but with a completely opposite meaning. From the very first days it became clear that the only comments to appear would be the ones the authors of the bill want. Comments demanding the bill be amended in a way its creators don't want will probably be let through, but in strictly measured quantities. This initiative to discuss the bill is a campaign that lets people feel important and distracts them from current problems. Pure, unadulterated imitation of democracy.

And the bill itself is a total nightmare. One more step toward arbitrary rule and a police state.
