The Der König der Löwen musical in Hamburg

Saw the Der König der Löwen musical - I'd long dreamed of seeing this show live. It would have been better in English, but German is fine too, since I know all the songs and almost all the text, except for a few scenes that are only present in the musical. I'll need to read the original script.

Circle of Life, He Lives in You and To Die For are powerful, the last one especially so now... Interestingly, the song Chow Down sounds better in German than in the original. Does German suit the hyenas better?)

Shadowlands is also powerful, but Endless Night in this rendition somehow didn't move me, whereas the original gets to you.

King of Pride Rock during the final battle, together with the visuals, the lighting and the choreography, also gets to you and gives you goosebumps, whereas in the animated film I don't really remember that anymore, although the melody itself is powerful and I liked it more in the soundtrack, while in the cartoon I didn't always notice it because of the action.

I took the seat at the very end of the first row, which cost 7000 UAH, seats in the center were already 8000 UAH. It was interesting to see the actors and costumes up close, the costumes and not only the costumes are quite interesting and original.

The show is awesome, now, listening to the soundtrack will bring up visuals from the musical in my memory, not just from the films.
