It turned out to be an interesting and eventful day. Of course, I expected something like this from it, but some events exceeded my hopes. In particular, I managed to get a relatively large amount done at the university — a day I'd been planning, a couple of weeks earlier, to skip. Significant positive changes happened in three areas at once, namely: a lot got settled regarding the trip to the olympiad, the most problematic subject stopped being one for me, and now the topic of my diploma thesis is officially assigned to me. All of this could have been sorted out one piece at a time on different days, but it really does please me that it all fell on this Day. Now I can recall the rest, too.

I think, first of all, I should start with the news. I always love reading it on this day, because I learn a lot of interesting and new things. Here, in my opinion, is the most important piece of news of this day: „Big cats are returning to Tavria”. We'll see what comes of it — after all, I live in the third Tavria residential district.

Speaking of big cats. Yesterday I received six DVDs with documentary films and programs about wild cats, among which are nine episodes of „Wild Africa”. For quite a long time I'd wanted to watch this series after reading reviews of it, and at last I got the chance. Of course, I don't rule out that at some point I saw fragments of it on television without knowing it was the one. Once again, my sincere thanks to the sender for such a gift! Now I just need to find the right time to watch it.

But the pleasant surprises didn't end there. At around one thirty-five in the afternoon, occasional snowflakes began drifting past the windows, and on the way home the snow was whirling thickly in the air and a thin white blanket was already covering the ground. It was very interesting to watch this attempt by winter to take back power. As I recall, twenty-one years ago there was still snow on the ground at this time, and quite a lot of it.

To finish, I want to note that the title of this entry consists of a number in the binary numeral system, made up of five digits, which can also stand in for the logical values „true” and „false”. By the way, this entry also consists of five paragraphs... Happy April Fools' Day, everyone! May there be more joy and less sorrow in your life. Be glad if you can, and on a day like this it shouldn't be hard. :)
