Save the predator! Help the tiger cub Zhora
I'm ashamed to face our descendants. They'll have nothing left to plunder.
Today on Twitter, user @saisan68 dropped a link to a story about what's next for the tiger cub Zhora.
Help the tiger cub Zhora. That's the plea the students of Gymnasium No. 3 are making to the residents of Khabarovsk. In October, the tiger arrived from Chelyabinsk at the wild animal rehabilitation center in the village of Kutuzovka. In May, he needs to undergo an expensive operation. But the rehabilitation center doesn't even have the money to keep the animal.
So there you have it. At the end of last year, the country held a tiger summit, where many millions were raised to help this predator. Even DiCaprio brought money over on a burning plane. You could have hired a personal masseur for every tiger, but the result, as always... though why be surprised? When a WWF employee openly says that it's simply easier to ask for money for the tiger, and that's it (see our note), and V.V. Putin just needs some extra political points.
So, dear pensioners, schoolchildren, teachers and doctors, there's no one but you who can really help the tiger.
UPDATE.: Our project got in touch with Eduard Vladimirovich Kruglov, the director of the "Utyos" rehabilitation center, and found out what ordinary mortals are so concerned about — the bank details for helping the center in general and the tiger cub in particular.

They're actually posted on the center's official website — http://www.animals.hbh.ru/contact.htm, but it hadn't been updated for a while, so we called to confirm they were still current.
