First

The first day of winter and the first entry in this journal. I specifically wanted to start the journal on a nice round date, so it would be easier to keep track of how long it's been around — and I almost managed it, if you count by local time.

Winter has arrived, only you can't feel it; even yesterday was cooler than today. It's nice that the new year is coming soon, but it's also upsetting how fast time flies, and that there's less than a month left to do and turn in the lab assignments at university, which have piled up.

I created this journal to be able to leave comments on other people's, and also to jot down some of my own notes, thoughts, reflections, and interesting information — maybe someone will find it interesting. Nothing comes to mind for now; I usually get online after midnight or thereabouts. And tonight I was fiddling with the journal and profile settings. I think that's enough.
