The Origami Killer

Finished Heavy Rain. Right up to the end I couldn't figure out who the killer was, and I didn't read any spoilers. I was stunned and pleased by the logical explanation of so many clues, and I'd actually tried to work out his identity myself. If you don't skip over all the little details and inconsistencies, then maybe you can guess it, though it's unlikely… To do that you'd have to analyze the psychological profiles in the same way and consider the least likely but logical option, exactly like in the Sherlock Holmes stories. The game is made with quality, and so is the plot. There's never been anything like it, and they managed perfectly fine without science fiction. I love that you choose what happens on the screen, and in most cases the main characters don't act like complete idiots, though you can choose that option too, but that's already for collecting trophies and seeing the other variants.

For now I'm interested in how to make sure all the playable characters of the story survive. On my first playthrough I collected only 47% of the trophies, I played on the normal level – and even then I couldn't always pull off the QTEs, especially as the FBI guy. I keep mixing up circle and square, I need to get used to the gamepad button symbols somehow.

The game is a masterpiece. I can't imagine how you could play it on a keyboard or without the SIXAXIS controller and get the same feeling you get playing on the PS3. It's a shame it takes only two evenings to finish, but you can play it a few more times and get different events, finding new little details the creators thought of.
