A few photographs from the last day in Simferopol. A trip to the Marble Cave was on the schedule before lunch. Everyone gathered outside the hotel and took a bus from there. While we waited, we captured a couple of cats sitting in the grass by the building:

The Wildlife of Kherson's Hydropark

Since anton_twister got a new camera and wanted to try it out, he dragged me along to the Hydropark. Of course, the timing wasn't ideal for that because of the beach season, but we did manage to get some shots. Landscapes and people don't interest me, but a few decent photos of wildlife came out of it.

Chicks in the Apple Tree

In the evening, the grown hens won't let the young ones into the henhouse, so the chicks have to make do with the nearest tree until it gets completely dark and the grown ones can no longer keep them from getting up on the roost. There's an apple tree growing nearby, so that's where the young birds end up:

A strange place to pick — people don't carry food at bus stops, and there's a pizzeria right nearby — better to do it inside or by its entrance. But this time the cat got lucky...
